It prides itself in using all natural ingredients in its products rather than using the artificial flavors and colors that are typically in other types of pet food that cost less money. The Wellness pet food company also tries to train its customers in the reasons why their pet food is so much better than the other brands on the market, touting the whole grains and meats that are used, rather than the by products that are used as filler in other brands.

A Whole Food Experience

In many types of dog and cat foods, when an individual reads the ingredients, the first ingredient is often the by product of wheat, corn, or in more expensive brands, meats. They will not use artificial preservatives either since these have been found to produce certain adverse effects in the animals. Instead, through the use of the all natural meats and grains, the taste of the dog and cat food is already good without using any artificial sweeteners, flavors or salts to enhance it.
