WHAT I READ AND WHAT PEOPLE TOLD ME ABOUT THE BREED WAS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE. SMART, ATHLETIC, EASY TO TRAIN, LIVES TO 10 YEARS, CAN ADOPT TO ANT CLIMATE, BUT THE ONE THAT WAS REALLY INTRESTING WAS THE DOGS ABILTY TO TO TELL FRIEND FROM FOE. AFTER VISITING SEVERAL BREEDERS I WAS AMAZED HOW ALL THESE DOGS ACTED. NONE SHOWED ANY SIGN OF FEAR, BUT THEY DID NOT SHOW ALOT ME ALOT OF ATTENTION EITHER.
THEY WOULD COME OVER SMELL ME SIZE UP THE SITUATION AND THEN AFTER DETERMINING I WAS NOT A THREAT THEY LEFT ME ALONE. WHAT WAS WILD WAS ALL THE DOGS NO MATTER WHICH BREEDER I WENT TO ALMOST ALL THE DOGS ACTED THIS WAY. I CAN TELL YOU THAT JUST THE SIGHT OF ONE OF THESE DOGS IS ENOUGH TO SCARE ANYONE, THEIR SIZE, LOOK, AND THEIR GREAT STENGTH IS NOTICED RIGHT AWAY. THEY ARE FEERLESS PROTECTORS OF THEIR FAMILY AND CAN BECOME TERRIFYING IF THATS WHAT THEY NEED TO DO. THE ONLY DRAW BACK IF THIS IS ONE IS THAT THIS DOG WILL LOVE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY LIKE NOTHING YOU HAVE EVER SEEN. THEY WANT TO BE WITH YOU ALL THE TIME, AND WHEN I MEAN WITH YOU I MEAN HE WANTS TO SIT NOT ONLY ON YOU LAP BUT CANT GET CLOSE ENOUGH, MY DOG HAS NEVER CHEWED ANYTHING IN THE HOUSE WHEN LEFT ALONE NOR DOES HE HAVE AN ANXIETY WHEN YOU ARE LEAVING HE LOOKS REALLY SAD AND JUST
